Perhaps you’re not quite ready to make the jump to one on one training and want to try things out for yourself first. But you don’t want to be set loose in the gym without a plan. Maybe you don’t want to make a huge financial commitment right away. Or perhaps you haven’t the foggiest as to where or how to start.

Or maybe you don't live in the New York Tri-State area.

In this case, consider our Distance Coaching program. You get all the benefit of having a coach and motivator, save the actual person right there in front of you during the workouts.

And, yes, I’m afraid you will have to rack your own weights.

 

So what do you get with Distance Coaching?
  • An initial assessment of lifestyle, nutrition habits, health, and physical condition.
  • Information – lots of it. I can either send it to your house as a physical book, or email you the pdf for you to print out or read on your computer, at your leisure.
  • A personalized exercise program detailing the workouts you’ll be doing for the month. I can send it as a pdf via email, or you can log in and access it on the web.
  • An outline of your nutritional plan. What you should eat. What you shouldn’t. A sample meal plan for the week.
  • A recommended list of supplementation, if applicable to your unique situation. Note: If you are my client, I do not let you spend more than you need!
  • We take metrics – which ones, vary on your goals. For fat loss, I’ll teach you how to take body composition, which we’ll track monthly along with weight, waist circumference and my other 5 indicators. For performance, we take baseline measurements of physical fitness applicable to your sport. And we reassess these metrics each month.
  • Unlimited email support. Weekly chat support, if you desire and we can agree upon a time.
“Does it really work?”

Yes! Distance coaching has been used successfully in numerous other fields (Tony Robbins, anyone?), and a recent study review¹ showed that Internet exercise coaching was effective in delivering significant improvements in both physical activity levels and physical fitness.

Not to mention that I’ve been doing Distance Coaching through the web since 2005.
